Atlanta will host two Group H matches set to take place on June 15 (Match 14) and June 21 (Match 38). The group includes Spain, Uruguay, Saudi Arabia, and Cabo Verde. Atlanta’s World Cup fans will see Spain, a tournament favorite, twice. They’ll take on Cabo Verde on June 15 before squaring off against Saudi Arabia on June 21.

The World Cup’s Group A is also coming to Atlanta. Match 25 will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium on June 18. While Mexico will not be making the trip to Atlanta, the group does include South Korea, South Africa, and a playoff winner of Czechia, Ireland, Denmark, or North Macedonia. The June 18 match will see South Africa take on the winner of the playoff.

On June 24, Match 50 will be played in Atlanta. The teams in Group C are Brazil, Morocco, Haiti, and Scotland. While Atlanta’s World Cup fans won’t see Brazil during the group stage, Mercedes-Benz Stadium will host Morocco against Haiti, a team making just its second appearance at the tournament.

The fifth and final World Cup group stage match in Atlanta will involve Group K. Portugal, Colombia, Uzbekistan, and a playoff winner of New Caledonia, Jamaica, or Congo will make up this intriguing group. Uzbekistan will match up against the playoff winner at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, giving fans the chance to potentially see two World Cup newcomers.

On top of the five group stage matches, Atlanta will also host two quarterfinal matches and a semifinal, bringing some of the tournament favorites to town in July.

Stay tuned for further updates on the official match schedule.
