Guía para un San Valentín perfecto en Dunwoody

Valentine’s Day is one of the most special days of the year to celebrate with loved ones.

Start the day off with a romantic stroll through the beautiful parks and trails of Dunwoody. Pack a picnic basket with tasty treats from Paris Baguette and head over to one of the various lush green spaces at Brook Run Park. Try something new with your Valentine and check out the Dunwoody Nature Center’s program Lovebirds Birding. Clueless when it comes to spotting birds? Don’t worry! Master Birder Rosa Guerra will guide participants through the trails and identify all birds along the way.

After that lovely walk in the park, we all deserve a sinfully delicious afternoon treat. Try a wine pairing class at Vino Venue and taste artisan wines, cheeses, and chocolates from all over the world. Pop into CafÉ Intermezzo for a decadent treat and leave dreaming of the Tiramisu or German chocolate cake that has so many making return trips.

Switch up the stereotypical movie and dinner date for a night at the theater. Dunwoody’s own Stage Door Theater will be running the production of “Completeness,” a rom-com story between a molecular biologist and computer scientist. This one is rated R so leave the kids at home and enjoy some adult humor.

Looking to complete the night with a fine dining experience like no other? Snag reservations at Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar and try their three-course Valentine’s Day Dinner. Or if four-dollar signs is not in the budget this year, consider Hobnob Tavern for some delicious Southern cuisine, trivia, prizes, and Champagne flights. Sip on some affordable bubbly with the hubby!

Top off the night with a pitcher (or two) of margaritas at Eclipse di Luna, the favored Latin tapas restaurant in Dunwoody. Enjoy the lively atmosphere and take part in the nightly salsa dancing.

Whether plans for the day together include a romantic dinner, a new activity, or indulging in sweet treats at home; the key is to make sure that there is something to be enjoyed together.
