From November 23, 2025, to January 19, 2026, High Street Skate will offer visitors the chance to experience a brand-new ice skating rink right in the heart of Dunwoody. Skate rentals are included with every ticket purchase, so get ready to glide into the holiday season alongside friends and family! Close to the Dunwoody MARTA station, a quick train ride will open up a world of holiday-themed activities to enjoy.

High Street is the place to be this holiday season in Dunwoody. On top of the great skating, visitors can take snapshots with Santa from November 28 to December 31. On December 11, Merry & Make offers an unforgettable evening of ornament decorating, festive drinks, and photo opportunities. And if you’re looking to end the year in style, join us for Sip & Sparkle as we toast to all the great things to come in 2026.

You’ll also be close to many of Dunwoody’s holiday light showings, perfect for creating a magical day out in the perimeter.

Skate the Station returns on November 14. The always-popular Atlantic Station ice rink offers outdoor ice skating in Atlanta, festive music, and holiday lights. Just a short drive or MARTA trip away from Dunwoody, visitors can enjoy a day out before returning to enjoy more holiday events in Dunwoody.

Returning on December 1, the Park Tavern Ice Rink serves up a family-friendly atmosphere with amazing views of the Midtown Atlanta skyline. Open seven days a week, the rink will operate through the new year, closing on February 16.

If you’re on the hunt for another unique ice skating rink in Atlanta, Ponce City Market’s “Skate the Sky” is another city favorite. If you’re headed downtown from Dunwoody, be sure to check out this 3,500-square-foot rink located on the market’s Rooftop Terrace.

Further north from Dunwoody, Avalon on Ice is a Rockefeller Center-inspired outdoor rink that draws families from all over the metro area. The Avalon’s ice skating rink requires advanced registration to ensure your time slot.

Want to move your Atlanta ice skating experience indoors? Center Ice Arena is just a few minutes from Dunwoody and offers weekly public skating sessions on Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Skate rentals are available, allowing visitors to choose between figure and hockey skates.
