Desfile del 4 de julio en Dunwoody

Celebre el cumpleaños de Estados Unidos asistiendo al desfile anual del 4 de julio en Dunwoody, GA, el mayor desfile del Día de la Independencia en el estado de Georgia.

Hosted by the Dunwoody Homeowners Association and The Reporter newspapers and proudly sponsored by the City of Dunwoody, Discover Dunwoody, EEP Events, Northside Hospital, and Dinowoody, the event features festively adorned floats, marching bands, vintage cars, clowns, and animals that parade down the streets of the city. The event is so well known that each year draws more than 2,500 participants and more than 35,000 spectators.

Recorrido del desfile:

La ruta del desfile es de aproximadamente 2,7 millas y sale de la intersección de Mount Vernon Road y Jett Ferry Road a las 9:00 a.m., se dirige hacia el oeste por Mt. Vernon hasta Dunwoody Village, gira a la derecha en Dunwoody Village Parkway, rodea el Parkway y entra a la izquierda en Dunwoody Village. Los voluntarios guiarán a los participantes en el desfile hasta el aparcamiento del desfile (Post Office Side). La zona del festival estará en el lado de Walgreens de Dunwoody Village. Se tarda aproximadamente 1 hora en recorrer toda la ruta del desfile.

Información para los espectadores:
Se anima a los espectadores del desfile a colocar sillas a lo largo de Mt. Vernon y rodear Dunwoody Village Parkway hasta Dunwoody Village. Los espectadores no podrán ver el desfile desde el lado este de Jett Ferry en Mt. Vernon debido a la preparación de los participantes. Las vistas comenzarán en el lado oeste de Jett Ferry en Mt. Vernon.

Mt. Vernon Road, entre Jett Ferry Road y Dunwoody Village, permanecerá cerrada desde las 8:30 hasta las 11:30 horas [los horarios son aproximados; póngase en contacto con el Departamento de Policía de Dunwoody para preguntas específicas sobre cierres de carreteras e información de tráfico].
