- MLK, Jr. Day of Service – January 19th, 2026. Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day with a community service event organized in partnership with local organizations. Learn more
- Kids to Parks Day – This year's event will be held at Brook Run Park on May 17th from 10 AM to 2 PM. FREE activities include The Music Class, DJ SBB, balloon artists, face painters, GA Bubble Man, food, and giveaways! Learn more
- Groovin’ on the Green – Enjoy free concerts at Brook Run Park every spring and summer, featuring live music and food vendors.

- Truck or Treat – A fun Halloween celebration at Brook Run Park with food trucks, live music, and trick-or-treating for the little ones.
- Memorial Day Tribute—The Veteran Events Planning Committee is an independent group that works in tandem with Dunwoody’s Parks and Recreation department to present the Memorial and Veterans Day events at the Veterans Memorial at Brook Run Park. The committee members include veterans, active military personnel, and representatives from leading community organizations. This year's event will be held on May 25th at 10 a.m. Stay tuned for details.
- Brook Run Holiday Lights – A dazzling holiday lights display in December, with over 150,000 lights at Brook Run Park.
- Pics in the Park—The FREE summer movie series returns June 6! Enjoy the free showing, free popcorn and candy, and giveaways under the stars. The popcorn cart opens 30 minutes prior to show time and will be available until halfway through the movie. Movie Dates: June 6, 2025, July 11, 2025, and August 1, 2025. The movies are held at Pernoshal Park at dusk.
